Directions to Local CourtsDirections to the Nassau County Court262 Old Country Road From the Southern State Parkway: Take Exit 22N, onto the Meadowbrook Parkway. Take Exit M1 on the Meadowbrook Parkway. Make a LEFT off the exit onto Old Country Road. Travel 1 1/3 miles west on Old Country Road. The Nassau County Court Complex will be on the left. From the Northern State Parkway and the Long Island Expressway: Take Willis Avenue Exit South (Exit 28 on the NSP, Exit 37 on the LIE). Continue on Willis Avenue to the end. The Nassau County Court Complex is found at the end of Willis Avenue at Old Country Road. Parking for 262 Old Country Road: You may park in either of the large lots marked "A" and "B". If these lots are filled, you may park in the lot marked "C", which is one block south of the Court Complex. By Long Island Rail Road: Take the Long Island Rail Road to the Mineola Train Station. The Office is three blocks east of the train station on Old Country Road. Directions to the Nassau County District Court99 Main Street From the Southern State Parkway: Take Exit 19N (Peninsula Boulevard and Hempstead). Travel on Peninsula Boulevard about one mile, make a LEFT onto Franklin Avenue. Continue for ¼ of a mile to Jackson Avenue. Make a RIGHT onto Jackson Avenue. Jackson Avenue crosses Main Street. From the Northern State Parkway and the Long Island Expressway: Take Willis Avenue Exit South (Exit 28 on the NSP, Exit 37 on the LIE). Continue on Willis Ave to the end. Make a RIGHT on Old Country Road. Continue on Old Country Road to Franklin Avenue. Make a LEFT onto Franklin Avenue. Travel about 1 ½ miles to Jackson Avenue. Make a LEFT onto Jackson Avenue. Jackson Avenue crosses Main Street. By Long Island Rail Road: Take a Long Island Rail Road with a final destination stop of Hempstead. Once at the Hempstead Train Station, the office is one block west of the train station. Directions to the Nassau County Taffic & Parking Violations AgencyThe Agency is located at 16 Cooper Street, in the Village of Hempstead, two blocks south of the District Court, the Long Island Railroad and Hempstead Bus terminals. The Agency can be reached from the Southern State Parkway at Exit 19N, Peninsula Blvd., by traveling north on Peninsula Blvd. until Washington Ave. Turn left and follow the signs into the municipal parking garage. The Agency can be reached from the Northern State Parkway at Exit 29, Roslyn Rd. south, by proceeding south on Roslyn Rd. It becomes Washington Ave and intersects with Cooper St one block south of Fulton Ave. Turn right and follow the signs into the municipal parking garage. The Agency can be reached traveling westbound on Hempstead Turnpike by turning left onto Washington, then right onto Cooper Street and by following the signs into the municipal parking garage. Defendants are required to wear appropriate attire to enter the court. Inappropriate attire includes short shorts, tank tops and beach attire. Please remember to allow the time to find parking and to bring quarters and dollar bills for parking.
Suffolk County Court
The Riverhead Courts Complex is located a the intersection of County Road 51 (Riverhead-Moriches Road) and County Road 98 (Nugent Drive), approximately four miles south of the Long Island Expressway on exit 71 and 8 miles north of Sunrise Highway on exit 61.
Suffolk County District Court Directions to Cohalan Court Complex The District Court is located in the Cohalan Court Complex, on Carleton Ave (County Road 17) just north of the Southern State Parkway Service Road, and north of the large white Federal Courthouse. It is just south of Citibank Park and the New York Institute of Technology. From the Southern State Parkway Eastbound From the Southern State Parkway Westbound From the Long Island Expressway (I-495) The entrance to the District Court Building is across from the flag poles in the main parking lot. The arraignment courtroom, for all new arrests, is in room D-11 on the first (ground) floor. The Clerks' Offices are located on the 2nd floor. The courtrooms are located on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th floors. The courtroom number will tell you what floor it is on, for example Courtroom D-31 is located on the 3rd floor, while Courtroom D-65 is located on the 6th floor.
